The Octopus' Garden

The first weekend of October, I am the featured artist on Toledo’s First Weekend of open galleries. with the theme of “Squid Row”.  I will be demonstrating the printing of Cephalopods, the class of marine animals that comprises octopus, squid, cuttlefish and nautilus. The galleries and studios in Toledo will be open on Sat, Oct 5 and Sunday Oct 6 from 11-5 each day.  At my Sea Fern Studio in the Floweree Community Center I’ll also have fish , octopus and squid,  and other non-fish marine life pieces on display in the gallery,

I will demonstrate the printing of a red Humboldt squid at 1pm and baby octopus at 3pm on Saturday, and will demonstrate printing of cut nautilus shells on clothing on Sunday at 2pm.  Come and see the wonders of these undersea creatures!
